South Kyle

Kenda Electronic Systems have been awarded the contract to design, supply, build and install a 132/33 kV Dynamic System monitoring (DSM) metering panel by Powersystems UK for the South Kyle substation.
The 240MW South Kyle wind farm project is located in East Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland and comprises of 50 wind turbines which are expected to start generating electricity by early 2023. The metering panel is to metering the energy flow in the 132kV new Cumnock Substation Connection at South Kyle Wind Farm
Installation and Commissioning of the equipment will be carried out by Kenda’s qualified and authorized engineers to comply with National Grid standards and regulations.
