Information on every meter under Kenda’s care
Circuit details - name, VT/CT ratios, UPP values etc.
All compensation, calibration and certificate data
All accuracy test, VFAR test and laboratory test results
Provides reporting functions for all aspects of metering
Split into sections, to ensure separation of client details

Metering System Site Work

Burden measurement
Installation of Kenda built metering equipment
Installation of add-on equipment in existing cubicles
Commissioning of the above equipment
Meter proving tests for CDCA acceptance
All necessary BSCP documentation completed

Kenda offer ongoing long term metering support, maintenance and repair services including calibration/ accuracy testing and is able to carry out the following maintenance activities

CoP 4 Type B laboratory calibration checks
CoP 4 Type C meter accuracy checking with full reporting
Voltage Failure Alarm Relay (VFAR) testing
Calculation of meter compensation/loss calculations
On/Off site meter recalibration/compensation data (TGN 057)
Diagnostic fault-finding and resolution
All work done to Code of Practice standards (CoP 4)
All necessary BSCP documentation completed
Clients’ equipment spares are held in quarantine storage, enabling rapid replacement response

Fault finding and Troubleshooting

Kenda engineers are fully trained to undertake diagnostic fault finding and resolution.

All work is carried out to Code of Practice standards (CoP4) with all necessary BSCP documents being completed.

Kenda is able to carry out preventative maintenance

On site Type C meter accuracy checking with full reporting
On site voltage failure alarm relay testing (VFAR)
Off site Type B laboratory calibration checks (UKAS approved)
On/Off site meter recalibration / recompensation
Calculation of meter compensation data (TGN 057)

Global Wind Organisation (GWO) certified personnel
Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) certification
All Staff are: Basic Electrical Safety Competence (BESC) Trained
Our staff have additionally undergone: Office for Civil Nuclear Security (OCNS) Personal Security checks, Global Wind Organisation (GWO) and Renewable UK (RUK) accredited for Offshore Work
Selected staff are: IOSH Managing Safety Trained
Training Records & Authorisations managed with ISO 9001:2015 audit process to ensure they reflect latest qualifications and Authorisations don’t expire
