Twentyshilling

Powersystems UK have awarded a contract to Kenda Electronic Systems to design build install and commission a OMS (Operational Metering Summator), ASM (Ancillary Services Monitoring) and DSM (Dynamic System Monitoring) metering panel for the Twentyshilling Wind Farm in Scotland.
The 27MW Twentyshilling wind farm 33Kv substation is located 4.8kmsouth of Sanquhar in Dumfries and Galloway Scotland. There are plans for 9turbines at the site which are expected to operational by November 2021.
The metering panel is to meter the energy flow in the 33kV new Glenglass substation connection at Twentyshillings Wind Farm. Installation and Commissioning of the equipment will be carried out by Kenda’s qualified and authorized engineers to comply with National Grid standards and regulations.
