Kenda Electronic systems is pleased to confirm it has secured contract from Powersystems UK to design build install and commission a OMS(Operational Metering Summator), ASM (Ancillary Services Monitoring) and DSM(Dynamic System Monitoring) metering panel for the Kennoxhead onshorewind farm development in South Lanarkshire Scotland.
The new 60MW Kennoxhead development near the village of Glespin in South Lanarkshire, Scotland has approval for 13 turbines with the first phase of the development expected to be completed by summer of 2022.
The contract awarded to Kenda Electronic Systems by Powersystems UK to design, build and test an OMS, ASM & DSM panel for the 132kVMiddle Muir Substation Connection at the Kennoxhead on shore wind farm development. The Panel contains Kenda’s Nebula, the Operational Metering Summator (OMS) will interrogate the remote settlement meters and provide the OMS functionality to National Grid technical specification.
The Installation and Commissioning of the equipment will be carried out by Kenda’s qualified and authorized engineers to comply with National Grid standards and regulations.
