Kenda Electronic Systems have been awarded the contract to design, build, test and commission the DSM (Dynamic System Monitoring) by Powersystems UK for the Glen Kyllachy onshore wind farm in the highlands of Scotland.
Glen Kyllachy is a 48.5MW project located 11 miles south of Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland comprising of 20 turbines which are due to be commissioned and come on line in the second half of 2021.
PowersystemsUK have awarded a contract to Kenda Electronic Systems to design, build, test and commission OMS (Operational Metering Summator), ASM (Ancillary Services Monitoring) and DSM (Dynamic System Monitoring) panel, for the 132Kv To maintain Substation Connection at the Glen Kyllachy Wind Farm. The Panel contains Kenda’s Nebula, which will enable the interrogation of the remote meters and provide the OMS functionality to the facility.
Inaddition there will be a VPN connection for the remote Data Concentrator connection and an additional Nebula to provide the Frequency Response (ASM)facility in accordance with National Grid specification. The panel will be meet National Grid technical specifications and the commissioning will be carried out by our qualified and authorized engineers.
